Alright guys, I did it. I stepped out of my Maeser Uniform, left my small White House school, and entered the real world: Mountain View High School. I know I already told you about going to Mountain View, but I don't think I ever told you how terrified I was: I was TERRIFIED. I mean, seriously, if you think that there's not that big of a difference from Maeser and a normal High School- think again.
And I finally did it. I survived my first day of a giant high school with the endless hallways, the gigantic cafeteria (unlike the tiny dining room at Maeser), the swarm of people who are definitely NOT wearing red, white and blue polos, and the millions of class rooms that all look the same.
Yeah- I'm pretty proud of myself. :)
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally going to miss Maeser. I miss my orchestra class, my brother- and sister-wives (yes, I had many!), Alyssa, and all my other crazy friends you can only find at Maeser, but I had Mikaela, who also just joined this year, to help me shove through the chaotic hallway...
...and I thought Middle-Schoolers were bad!
Well, moving on to Halloween, let's just say I didn't really want my first impression on these "real" people to be me in my '80s Costume, so I didn't dress up. But I dressed up for the Trunk or Treat, and I think that's really all I need... right? Anyways, having fun hanging out at the Minors with our Pumpkin Soup (literally INSIDE of an orange pumpkin-shaped bread) and Caramel Apples, and passing out candy to little kids when it's not even my house... But, you know what, with how much I'm here, it practically IS my house! (well, they did say they adopted me...)
Oh, well... Happy Halloween Guys! Remember, don't talk to strangers, don't Trick-or-Treat alone, be safe, and most important, eat chocolate! :D
